Celebrate ID Your Pet Day: Keep Your Furry Friends Safe This Independence Day

As we approach the Fourth of July, a day filled with family fun and fireworks, it's important to remember that this can be a stressful time for our four-legged friends. More pets go missing on July 4th than any other day of the year. That's why ID Your Pet Day, which takes place every year on July 1st, is so important.

This pet awareness day, created by the ASPCA, emphasizes the need for a readable, current ID tag and/or a microchip for your pets. A pet with a personalized ID tag or an implanted microchip is more likely to be returned home if they go missing. So, before the fireworks begin, take a few minutes to check your pet’s ID tag and microchip information.
